Review on πŸ”Œ Cable Matters 12 Port Vertical Bracket: Efficient Cable Management Solution by Xiaomeng Chang

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Good business. Best in Computers & Accessories

This is a well designed patch panel. The vertical design was just what I needed for the space I had - not everyone needs a rack. The instructions are fine - they tell you how to wire it up (the colored labeling on the back works just as well), but they were sketchy if you could hit the plastic bracket. Place the bracket where you want it, then rotate the plate so the connectors are facing the wall. Snap the panel into the plastic mount and it's strong enough to use a striking tool. I see that the back channel for 12 cables can be a little tight, but you can route them underneath if needed. All in all a good cheap patch panel that I would buy again if needed.

Pros
  • Soho with style for a professional looking structured cabling solution in a home or small office network; Pre-wire up to 12 locations, then plug and play with standard RJ45 patch cords for LAN connection, video and audio streaming, IP camera surveillance and more; Label panels on the front panel provide labeling options for easy identification and a professional looking installation
Cons
  • Some bugs
