Review on 🚢 Garmin Reactor Autopilot 010-12833-10 with Remote Accessory by Joseph Mathis

Installed this remote in conjunction with a Garmin Reactor autopilot pump and navigation head. The remote control, which I thought was a gimmick at first, is great! We can sit anywhere on the boat during long passages. A few notes: 1. The screen has a very small font and takes up empty space. A larger font would be better. The remote uses Bluetooth to communicate with the navigation head, not the pump or heading detector. Our navigation head is mounted on the top plate of the lower steering post. The remote control works well on the lower and upper stations, in the saloon and on the bow deck. He loses contact about 10 feet away. Setting up the autopilot and remote control was easy. Highly recommended.
