Great knife for both soft and hard bread
I had a hard time spending so much money on a knife, but I was tired of slicing homemade bread with our old dull bread knife. Now I wish I hadn't waited so long! This knife cuts any bread so easily - both soft, which a dull knife would tear into crumbs, and heavy, densely leavened, which an old knife would only crawl through with great effort and saws. I know Zwilling makes much more expensive knives than this one and I'm glad they have a more affordable but great knife!
