This is my second purchase of this product after a year of wrapping my King shocks, they have held up well. The most important thing is the correct installation and no well or tap water, because when the water evaporates, mineral deposits are left behind, which depending on the packaging are/may be visible through the packaging. I personally used distilled water and a drop of water. Dawn dishwashing liquid in an aerosol can and gave excellent results with no air bubbles. Installation was much easier when both the substrate surface and the clear film were sprayed. I make sure my hands are washed and everything I pack is prepared and clean. and I wash and wipe with automotive grade wax/grease remover, let it air dry, then apply the film and make sure the installation area is clean. Again, I wrapped my King shocks and shock absorbers. My shocks alone are $6,800. ONE YEAR later the cling film is still like new and my shocks were polished before the cling film was applied and still look the same. This makes cleaning my suspension much easier. I have also used this film on my headlights with no problems and installed it on our SUV's skid plate which eliminated shoe marks. I haven't had any damage or discoloration in over a year. I used this for the back panels of my car to avoid damaging the paint on the race track. There are many uses for this clear film and if it survived a year of abuse on my bumpers it would be great for headlights, clear bra protectors etc.
