We bought these gloves for snowball fights because the description said they were good for skiing. The very small gloves were still too big for my 6 year old but that is more of a personal issue. We went to Big Bear and they warmed his fingers. However, when we started playing with the snow, which I thought was normal given snow skiing, his gloves got soaked. He started complaining about pain in his fingers before I noticed all the water. When I took them off, I was able to rotate them by beating out the water that had collected. Needless to say, they were useless after that. So I would buy them for all the other items listed but not for skiing or playing in the snow.
