The hem cuffs are longer at the front than at the back.
They are well made. The weird thing is that the "leg" of the shorts in front reaches a point just above the knee, so to speak. I wanted them because they looked modest, almost to the knees. However, when viewed from the side, the front of the "leg" is lower than the back and appears to reach a point on the front of the knee. The hem is quite stiff at the moment and hasn't softened yet. I hoped that would be the case, eliminating the pointy look to the front of the leg in the knee area. I leave them in the hope that after washing and wearing them they will go away.
