A colleague's son got something like this for his birthday and she mentioned that it's a really good toy for him because he can release the accumulated energy and it's good for the mind and body. I was curious how my nephew would like it so I ordered. He's autistic, he has bursts of energy, and he's having a hard time finding a way out. My sister takes him to surf lessons and such, but on rainy days we wanted him to do something to get this release out. It was amazing, he loves it. The gloves fit him perfectly. We filled the base with sand and water for extra stability and it was great. Assembly was easy and not bad for the price. It was worth seeing if it was something he would get into. My sister will take him to class now, he likes it a lot. Very happy with our purchase.
