Review on Tim Holtz Ranger TDA68068 Distress by Summer Hendricks

Revainrating 2 out of 5

VERY bad shipping packaging!

The box is already made of thin aluminium, which is only suitable for storing Tim Holtz sprays. Nothing fancy and certainly not thick enough to hold its shape if dropped. This What America Buys seller then ships it in a low quality (small bubbles, scattered and weak) bubble envelope! I bet you can imagine what this little cheaply made aluminum box went through as it was tossed from truck to shipping center, to trucks and so on across America to get to my house on the other side, and then along with it a clear, happily crammed in a mailbox that is too small to send?! Needless to say, I had to modify the shape a bit to get it opening and closing properly (think how to Flamenco Frankenstein's Monster and you're halfway there). It holds sprays with the lid closed, but there are some pesky bruises and dents that shouldn't have been at all, making the little thing lose all the beauty pageants available for small, cheap aluminum boxes. I'm making up a story that will make him braver and less self-sacrificing. Buyers beware! If you can find one locally, go that route, otherwise make a nice holder with a little cardboard box, which is what I'd like to spend my money on instead!

Pros
  • Adhesive films and sprays
Cons
  • Big and chunky
