Installed on my ATV. I almost bought a Warn winch simply because I have Warn winches on my jeep and truck and they are great, but this is an ATV that is primarily for fun, work and hunting. I chose this winch because it had everything I needed, cables and controls, as well as the remote control. I used the mounting plate that came with it and modified it for use on my ATV. I didn't have to buy anything. Synthetic rope is great, much better than steel cable for ATV applications, no more dealing with curly steel cable. Will be hauling my quad uphill with me, 280lbs holds the brakes, lots of traction, it's not loud and sounds good. Excellent value for money and quality. I am very happy with the winch.
