First of all, my last personal journal was a black dot grid Rhodia web notebook. It has withstood stickers, watercolor paints, stickers, etc. The spine of the book was in perfect condition and I used it for around 6-7 months. It showed no signs of aging or stress. I decided to order Rhodiarama because I was drawn to the different color options and the reviews I saw online turned out to be of the same quality as the Rhodia webbie. When I received my notebook, I immediately saw that the front cover visibly overlapped the paper further than the back cover. It wasn't built right; When I removed the rigid packaging the spine was able to be snapped back into place, but after a few days of use it definitely shifted a bit. long cold winter months. The hardcover is soft and smooth to the touch with a leather-like feel, just like the Rhodia Web notebook. The rubber band leaves dents on the cover and there is also a dent on the cover from the band where the bookmark was flattened. I think the plastic wrap was too tight. It doesn't bother me, but maybe others do. The paper is wonderful. Soft, soft, so easy to write! I use the blank version and place the printed "lined" instructions below the page when I need help writing straight. There are a few jet black shadows, but that doesn't bother me. I don't use a fountain pen, I mostly use Pentel Energel pens. I really wanted to love this book as much as my black web, but it turned out to be lighter and thinner. I can't put a name to it, I think it's the thread binding and backing. Maybe I am, but it just doesn't seem to be the quality. Finally, the bookmark ribbon is short on my black Webbi, but useless on Rhodiarama notebooks. I don't even know why they even bothered. It protrudes about 1/2 inch while the black Rhodia protrudes about 1 inch. Instead, I use a cardboard bookmark and hide the ribbon at the end of the book. In summary, we can say that the book deserves 3.5 stars. I like the laptop but I'm disappointed. I will continue to use it for my journal until the pages are full but I don't think I will order Rodiarama again. I'll know for sure how well it will hold up in a few months, but I'll probably move on to black or orange Rhodia notebooks. , but it's definitely not as well built as the original Webbie Web Black Notebook. When I hold Rhodiarama in my hands, the back feels thinner, the lid moves slightly left and front, and the outer back is soft. It's hard to explain, but it's like the outer cover is too big for the book and there's too much material inside. My Webby's outer spine is tight and when I press on it it's soft but strong. I don't know if I have a notepad with seconds, or maybe they're just made that way compared to the original Webby.
