Review on WMN_TRULYSTEP MSC03 Alcohol Moonshine Distiller by Karen Mogel

I would say overall it was a fantastic purchase. There was one big problem, but it was ultimately my fault. There is also some room for improvement. My big mistake was not cleaning this item properly when I received it. I was so excited about my new distillation unit that I did my first flush right out of the box. The heads looked clean, the hearts were cloudy and the tails were thick! This thing was vomiting copper filings off the condenser coil into my distillate! It's fixable, but it was entirely my rookie mistake. The first thing to do with new equipment? FIND OUT! Perform three full cycles of deleting this permission when you get it; vinegar, water, alcohol (drain); then you are ready to launch a product about it. Room for Improvement: This thing is pretty big, and unless you plan on using an outdoor turkey fryer, you won't find a big enough electric burner without spending a ton of coins. I opted for an immersion heater for more controlled heating and added another thermometer to monitor the wash temperature. I genuinely feel that I now have an amazing camera in my hands. Again, it took some modifications to get to this point, but I'm happy with the purchase. After thorough cleaning and some modifications I am still very happy with it. I would recommend it to anyone willing to put a little more time and effort into it. The photos show the optional wash temperature sensor and immersion heater.
