Delivery was quick. Seems very solid and we will build. My only issue is that where the lid is soldered to the connector for the second pot, the connector is crooked. This will result in the second pan not sitting flat on the lid (the legs are 1/2 inch above the lid). I'm afraid to try to bend it so as not to damage the connection. Looks like it was made by kids in a sweatshop. The welds are dirty, the metal burned through. this system until it is washed. Smells very strange. The legs are literally nuts that have been welded on and sheared off with bolts. Capacitor anyway, and don't make me attach the capacitor to the pan. Strongly disappointed.

I'm torn. It's no different than any remanufactured stainless steel pot. The soldering between stainless steel and copper is mediocre at best, and the condenser pot was bent, leading me hesitantly to turn it back on. I could build better and I will, but I wanted to get my feet wet before I spent any money building it. He has his place and does a good job. But distillation is actually a simple process. I would say overall it was a fantastic purchase. There was one big problem, but it was ultimately my fault. There is also some room for improvement. My big mistake was not cleaning this item properly when I received it. I was so excited about my new distillation unit that I did my first flush right out of the box.
