Review on WMN_TRULYSTEP MSC03 Alcohol Moonshine Distiller by Sherry Esco

First the good part of the review. It is inexpensive and can be used to gain insights into the process. It's relatively compact and doesn't take up the entire counter or stovetop. The kettle looks good and is a good size. But mine arrived damaged and the lid is not airtight. The gasket around the kettle is cheap and unlikely to hold the seal even if the lid is intact. It just doesn't seem to fit right. But the main disadvantage is also the positive review above, it's cheap (cheap). The kettle is made from durable stainless steel, which is great, but the lid is pretty flimsy and the welds aren't very good. Haven't tried distilling anything in it yet as I can't use it as a fermenter. Since it doesn't seal as a fermenter, I have serious doubts that steam will not escape when distilling. But I'll update this review if I'm pleasantly surprised.
