Your phone needs to be connected to it via Bluetooth at all times and it interferes with other Bluetooth devices such as speakers or car stereos. When you disconnect, it will be like a deer in the headlights trying to reconnect at times when you really need it. The most frustrating thing is that when your phone is too far from the map, it will beep on the map and siren on your phone. The app says you can turn it off, but that doesn't always work. I left my cell phone in the car just to get a drink at the gas station and it rang like crazy. At work I move around a lot and play music through a very loud speaker when I'm lying on the floor. I hold my phone next to the speaker so it doesn't turn off. I've silenced my alarm in the app, but the siren still sounds through my speaker if I get too far from my phone. It scares people.
