Good Workhorse Paper
This is the same machine made paper I've used as practice paper for years and it's absorbent enough to display multiple colors with a loaded brush and is good enough for that back and the frame when I'm "practicing" a painting that I think I can sell. It's pretty and inexpensive, and while it's not as delicate as the single Shueng paper I use when I'm feeling safe, most of the time it's quite responsive. easy to work with when wet.
