The floss is NOT numbered DMC
This kit is ideal for beginners. However, if you already have a collection of DMC# thread colors, there are NO numbers in this set to identify your batch of dye. Although the product info page that came with the kit says they are "marked with a color number". The line also wears out VERY easily when trying to wind it onto the spool. Be patient with this.
