AMAZING! We had to cut a hole in the Silestone countertop. 1.75" is what we really need for the 1.6 metal insert, but we got the whole set because we could find that. It passed like a dream. The hole saw/drill we used is probable sold out - a one time offer but COMING.ON.$20 for all of this?!Deal! The company that installed our countertop wanted $400 to drill this single hole with a .1 inch thick snake and press it firmly against the surface to be drilled. Then fill the area inside the play doh with water.Drill VERY slowly to start.straight down, the blade will dance a little. When the angled drill bit started to create a groove in the surface,it could straighten the drill bit again. Be sure to remove the hole saw and flush the incision with water. My husband said he cuts much better after I splashed water in the cut and washed out the sand. We drilled right next to de r sink so that our Play Doh weir was a three-sided open side on the edge of the sink. That way I could hold the kitchen faucet/sprayer next to the drill bit and run cold water over the drill bit and into the cut. My husband's last words are "slowly, slowly, slowly".
