Review on 1Storm Motorcycle Bike Full Face Helmet Mechanic Skull: HJDJ11 by Derek Wagner

I have owned this helmet since I purchased it in December 2020 for use on my electric skateboard. I figured a potential fall from 24 mph might require a full face helmet to protect my face. I did not anticipate coming out of retirement and buying a sportbike again. It sort of just happened one day and I used this helmet on that motorcycle.This helmet is the cheapest adult full face helmet that I have ever seen or owned. It performs at twice its price, which is a compliment; however, it is not good enough for me and that is why I have stopped using it on my sportbike. There is wind noise for a variety of reasons, but noticeably the helmet is missing a chin curtain. Fogging is not a major issue. Comfort is a 3/5 stars because the back padding that rests on the neck kept coming unbuttoned and it was irritating.At speed (over 80 mph) the helmet didn't do well in the wind. The helmet wasn't slicing through the wind as my previous helmets from HJC did. I'm not sure why some of the other reviews stated that the helmet sizing runs small. I ordered an XL and it fit slightly larger than XLs I've had in the past from other brands.I would recommend this helmet for motorcyclists that aren't on a sportbike (they are in a more upright riding position) and riders who routinely stay in cruising mode. Again, the helmet performed better than I expected for that price. I simply couldn't continue to use the helmet because of the performance issues described above. I have since moved on to an Icon Airflite Space Force and an AGV I will not mention. It would be unfair to compare those two helmets to this 1STORM helmet.
