At once I will make a reservation that my experience of use of hards is limited only above designated by Seagate firm. At one time, disks for 120 and 160 Gig, respectively, were bought at first (both, by the way, have been working without failures and breakdowns for more than 6 years :)), then a 250 Gig disk was bought (also still fully operational), and now about six months ago, deciding not to interrupt the tradition, this copy was bought. It works so far without failures, does not make much noise, does not "disappear" and does not buggy, the speed of work through the SATA 3 cable is not satisfactory. It remains to be seen when the same reliable hard drives will finally migrate from 3.5 to 2.5 form factor. Although, of course, unfortunately, as it was already mentioned here, buying Hard in our time is a lottery, and even the highest quality company will not insure against defective goods or leaky hands drunk movers.
