These are a great replacement for incandescent bulbs, they are very bright and give a nice soft white light. I have a lot of lightbulbs at home and they burn for many hours day and night so for economic reasons I had to start using these spiral spare bulbs. I was hesitant at first but they work very well. Note that they are dim when first turned on, but gradually brighten over several minutes to reach full brightness. The longer they burn, the better they look. The light is bright "soft" white, not dazzling and not yellow. They put out a light equivalent to old-fashioned 100-watt incandescent bulbs, but produce only a fraction of the heat and last much longer. And they really lower your electric bills. You don't have to give up decent lighting in your home to save on your electricity bills, just use these spiral lamps.
