
It wasn't until today that I realized how great these things are. I love crab, but I'm usually more inclined towards king crab than white crab because it's very easy to get meat from a large leg of a king crab, and the skinny legs of a snow crab are a lot of inconvenience. If I tried to use kitchen scissors to cut one of those little legs to length, you'd tear the flesh inside. Despite the simplicity of these little fish forks, they work incredibly well on skinny crab legs. The forked end works very well as mini scissors when cutting the length of a skinny leg without destroying the flesh inside. Then once you open it up, the opposite end is great for scooping out the meat. Very convenient.
