NOT good for dogs or rough kids.
They sell this for dogs (and babies) but it's the most fragile gate I've ever bought. Took a week for one of our dogs to tear off part of it. Despite the break, I continued to use it for 2 weeks before it broke completely. We redid the trellis for our bookshelf but I will never buy that gate or anything like it again.
