Review on Christmas Garland Battery Operated Ornament by Brandee Diaz

Better than the photos, small but not too small, very cute lights

They actually look better than the photos; It was hard to tell from the photos if they might be microscopic, as has happened to me with some garlands in the past, but they're not so small that you couldn't tell they were holly shaped. They look beautiful and bright. My complaints are pretty minor - firstly the seller/manufacturer should include an instruction manual if they insist on doing it remotely so we know which numerical settings cause which lighting effect. Generally though, lamps should have their own manual on/off switch in case the remote is lost or fails, but I can't find such a switch, so it looks like they can only be controlled with the remote. It's almost enough to make me want to return them. Also, and I doubt I'm alone in this, I'd rather be able to just buy a bunch of lightbulbs that turn on and off; I'm not a small kid and I don't need 8 different blink and motion settings. I don't understand why the vast majority of fairy light kits available are suddenly no longer available in a simpler form such as: B. a setting and not a remote control. For some lighting styles, it might make sense to have lots of settings involving movement, blinking, and coffee drinking, but it's not entirely appropriate or necessary for something like this. I have a lot of light kits and don't want to keep track of a lot of tiny, low quality remotes (they all look the same) and I'm not interested in buying remote control batteries (flashlight ones are pretty expensive). or figure out how to change them. But since these lights don't seem to have a manual switch, I have to do both, otherwise I just get rid of the lights once the remote stops working. If any of the relevant parties are reading this, please always give the light sets manual on/off, please give customers the option not to use the remote control and just use a fixed setting, not one (pretty stupid, to be honest to be) movement and blink settings. Otherwise these are very good lamps.
