I have always used clamps but sometimes they slip or have problems. I bought this to speed up the process and I will say that this tool is very easy to use. The only thing to note is that you want to manually rotate it between the brakes so it has a little bit of pressure. Or hold both sides firmly with your hands and the ratchet will work. If there is no resistance, the ratchet will move back and forth and will not expand or contract. When I found out about it, everything became easy, Pisi.
