Fits perfectly, you couldn't ask for better in this department. The shirt is also very comfortable. The problem I have with Carhartt shirts is durability. I know the brand is known for its longevity. However, these shirts don't last as long as they should. Cotton will begin to fray at the seams after a few months of light wear. I can only imagine how they can't handle the hard work. I have since switched to another American made product that is made from Kevlar which is very lightweight, breathable and flame retardant for the life of the garment (uncoated). Reference point. If Carhartt did something like this I would consider going back as I have worn this brand for many years.
