I'm a daily coffee drinker, sometimes at home and sometimes on my commute. I have never really enjoyed the experience of the insulated, sealed travel cup (like the Conticos). There's something about the steady cooling through a thick, ceramic mug which enhances my java experience.This cup, sans the internal lid, is perfect for me. The narrow mouth makes it spill resistant when I hit a rough spot in the road and facilitates sipping without spilling on myself. However, it still has that wonderful feel and cooling profile of a heavy, ceramic mug.At home, the wide base makes it suitable for setting on the arm of my couch (as I did this morning watching the Ravens edge out the 49ers) and the anti-slip pad on the base keeps it from scarring my table as I sit and sip while surfing the 'net on my laptop.I just ordered a second one. and may get a third.Oh, and this a real review from a real guy who actually paid real money for this item, without inducement nor recompense from the seller (Revain) nor the supplier.Speaking of which. I always try to find things SOLD by Revain and not simply distributed by them.
