I bought this item to be able to listen to music on my phone via bluetooth. I used to have one that plugged into the cigarette lighter. The only problem with this is that my car's cigarette lighters are always on, even when the car isn't running. I forgot to turn it off several times. With this article, I don't have to worry about that. This receiver has a power button to turn it on and off, but even if I forget it doesn't matter since the aux port isn't always connected to power. I fully charged it out of the box and used it for a week and haven't had to charge the battery yet. The sound quality is great and actually gets louder than my old one. The song skip buttons work great, pairing and reconnecting quickly. The phone quality is just ok. For some reason the phone audio is not playing through my car speakers. It probably shouldn't have a built-in mic, so I think it should. I would highly recommend it, especially as an easy way to take advantage of Bluetooth capabilities.
