Review on Enhance Timekeeping Creativity with Walnut Hollow 3 Piece Clock Kit for 3/4-inch Surfaces by Brent Webb

Received as a gift. Was a fun project with my kid. Assembly was easy and seems to be holding up well. The shank can be slightly longer for use with a 3/4 inch shank. We used 3/4" thick wood and after sanding and finishing it was 0.74" thick. Because the shank has a slight taper at the top to make it easier to put the nut on, it doesn't secure well. I had to drill a little less than 1/8" through the back with overlapping passes using my largest forstner bit. After that they fit together perfectly and it looks beautiful. I'm not sure about the complaints about the thickness of the dials. In my experience all dials are fragile.
