But to be honest I was very impressed with this little pump. I've used it several times and each time I've been impressed by how quiet and fast this pump is. I bought it because I was tired of running to the gas station and paying $1.50 for air, although I love the convenience of fancy air pumps that let you set the pressure and move on to the next tire. This little pump lets you do just that without having to drive around the cabin or look for a neighborhood. All you have to do is unscrew the tube, check the reading on your current tire pressure, switch and start the process on the next tire. Automatically inflates and deflates when desired pressure is reached. As I've only used it a couple of times, I still check it with a pressure gauge, but every time I've used it it's been accurate. Pretty soon I'll drop the re-examination as it seems unnecessary. Two other great features are speed and sound. I remember using such pumps in the 80's and they had a high-pitched pump squeak that lasted what felt like 5 minutes per tire. Not so with this pump, it adds 5-10 pounds of air in about 30 seconds and it sounds more like a "purr" than the old high-pitched squeak. excited about this pump. The price was good, it shows the current pressure, allows you to automatically inflate to the desired pressure, it shuts off automatically, it's very fast and very quiet. I was very happy with the purchase.
