Review on 🍚 Zojirushi NL-AAC10 Micom Rice Cooker: Top-Rated Uncooked Rice Cooker and Warmer, 5.5 Cups/1.0-Liter Capacity, Beige Color, 1.0 L Size by Boss Spangler

Extremely handy but make sure you have countertop space

My last rice cooker had one too Zojirushi but I decided to update it to cook different types of rice. This model also had the added benefit of being able to dampen bao and vegetable dosha, and family members have been recommending one of the more advanced models for some time. The advanced heating, reheating, and timer features are useful for those who are often on the go for most of the day and easy to use for those who grew up using rice cookers. Although I haven't steamed anything yet, the basket is relatively small and requires food to be less than 1 inch thick, with a note to be careful when steaming any type of bread, so traditional bamboo steamers or a multi-function pan might be better if it's for you would be one of the main benefits. I can already say I can't cook siopao in this one, which is a little disappointing, but it still cooks things like salmon and bite-sized veggies (although you can't. You can steam and boil rice). at the same time with too different time requirements). The manual that came with the rice cooker is handy for understanding the right time for steaming and has several recipes that I have tried and recommended. Pay attention to the size of the device. The 1 liter option is still quite large and you have to consider the countertop space and storage space that is available in your kitchen. Overall, I'm glad I made this purchase and I can see that it's going to be an excellent long-term investor (knock on wood).

Cons
  • Doubtful purchase for seniors
