I've read the reviews and they weren't all impressive but the price is right so thought it might be worth a try. I've used it for a few uses: some tillage, mixing compost in a 55-gallon drum, and planting holes. I've used it on all three since receiving it and it's been way better than expected. Perfect for all three uses, at least until my compost pile outgrows it, which of course won't be a snail bug. However, I will say that without a quality drill, this thing would be inconvenient to use. If you try to use a cordless drill on hard ground, it must be firm. My Ryobi 18v spins it in tighter spots with ease until it goes low, but even if you just reverse it, push it back a little, and pull it up, the bottom works fine. As long as there is no slipping, stripping or anything like that. I recommend this one if you need a durable garden drill bit.
