Review on XFasten Black Butyl Seal Tape: 30-Foot Leak Proof Putty Tape for RV Repair, Window, Boat Sealing, Glass, and EDPM Rubber Roof Patching by Jason Paredes

I would prefer this product to be 1/4" to 1/2" wide. Used on my closed moving trailer to reseal where the front metal panel connects to the galvanized metal stone shield on the bottom front of the trailer. The trailer is 16 years old and the previously used gasket that was used where the two surfaces meet is beginning to fail causing water to enter and damage some of the wood on the lower front of the trailer. I had to remove the sheet metal. The screws on the bottom metal piece are enough to pull it out and allow me to put tape between them. This material instantly sticks to anything it touches, so it was a bit difficult to cut 3/4" with scissors between the two pieces of sheet metal before gluing where I didn't want to glue it, but eventually it worked. This area will no longer leak. This product was properly packaged in a flat box with a liner in the middle to retain its shape. As others have recommended I placed the box in the fridge until ready to seal use it and no problem, just remember to put it back in after use.
