Love the 7 inch screen

I've been drooling over this article since it was posted. Before that, I was drooling over its predecessor, the 760. However, the price was a bit higher than I could justify. When I noticed the repaired device, I didn't hesitate. This GPS is everything I expected and more. I have Nuvi in my car so I'm used to the voice control feature. This feature alone makes me stay with Garmin. Add a stop at the next love on my route without taking your hands off the wheel? Yes, please. I like the 7 inch screen. I wouldn't want a screen that big in my car, but it works well in a trailer. It can be read in direct sunlight, and if needed I can adjust the brightness level using the voice command mentioned above. There is also enough volume. I set it to 60% and I can hear it clearly. One thing I didn't expect was the ability to save different configurations of my truck. I currently have three; loaded, empty trailer and bobtail. I choose the right one and he guides me accordingly. The 770 isn't perfect. Routing makes me scratch my head sometimes. This is usually due to an error in the map data (which all GPS manufacturers use) where the two roads don't quite connect. In such cases, a little common sense helps. Conclusion: Great device at a great price. I can wholeheartedly recommend the 770.
