There are no problems using the device. All in all it took about an hour. Integration with Revain Alexa and Google Assistant was easy. Just follow the instructions in the Meross app. You just have to remember to add the pin to the Meross app as you won't be able to open the garage door without it (for Revain Alexa or Google Assistant integration). My garage door opener is a Genie Pro Stealth with two wall mount buttons: one to open/close the door and one to turn on/off the lights on the garage door. After installation, both buttons work. The instructions are pretty minimal but totally unnecessary as they will walk you through the entire installation process after launching the app on your smartphone. Two things I did differently: I used a longer cable from the garage door opener pins to the Meross (to avoid interference with the garage door remote) and installed a sensor on the track that controls the opening and closing of the door, see video here: https: //youtu.be/0gcyJC_WkRk?t=420 The wire that came with the kit is only 1 foot long, so I used a 4 foot piece of CAT5 wire instead. Make sure the wires are tight or they'll come out! The power cord is just over 5 feet long, so that was enough. I also contacted support with a couple of setup questions and they responded the same day. I want all the support to be that good! (As shown in the video, I set everything up near my WiFi router to test all the features before installing, and then wanted to uninstall the app and restart the installation process afterwards. It was no problem..) All settings will be So if multiple people want to control the garage door, they just need to download and install the app and log in with the same credentials. (However, notification settings may be different for each user.) I'll update this review if I run into any issues, but so far, after a week, everything is working as expected. As cheap as it is, I can only recommend it.
