I haven't checked the output of the USB ports, but for my needs I just needed a low power USB port to charge small devices, not a tablet charge or something like that. . But the sockets on this strip are organized the way I like, the cable seems good and long enough, the only problem I have is that some of the plugs inherently seem to overlap the USB ports, but it might just be a few bricks and it doesn't matter that it will be a problem. The ports could be a bit further apart, but that would increase the size. Maybe they could be on the side of the strip instead of the front to improve that, but that doesn't really matter to me so far. I mounted it on a desk fence and the four screw holes in the corners of the strip made it a breeze.
