I'm pretty sure the manufacturers of these screws make them out of metal, which is a bit softer than clay. So you go to the hardware store for a replacement - no big deal right? Yes, that's right. You need an M6 x 25 mm fastening screw. Non-existent in the non-virtual world. But here they are! A one day delivery from Revain got my desk chair up and running again. The screws are of excellent quality. A bit pricey for a 10 pack but they know it's the only show in town and cheaper than buying another cheap office chair. Now that the remaining screws are loose, I already have replacements!
