Revain would like an assessment of the following features of this item: Ease of Installation: Yes. They are fixed through a 12mm diameter hole with nut and washer. Soldering is difficult, but quite doable. Weather protection: I have no idea. Bought these to keep dirt off the switch, not as weather protection. Waterproof: See weather protection. Basically, the switches are fine. As other reviewers point out, the terminals are small. This is pretty easy to do as follows: strip the wire and twist it if it is stranded. Pass the bare wire through the terminal hole. Retighten the twin wire and twist again. Apply a drop of solder to the already knotted wire and clamp. Apply heat shrink, hot glue, or liquid tape to the seam if you're concerned about shorts. Obviously this will be difficult to remove, but if you solder them it shouldn't be beyond your skill level. Other reviews mention NO or NC. These are normally open switches. When you press a button, electricity flows between the two terminals. When you release the button, the circuit opens. Usually open. The first feature of this switch pack that caught my eye was the crowd. The bag they came in says 15 but the bag contains 14. The package consists of three small bags in a larger one. Each of the small bags should contain a red, green, blue, yellow, and black switch. In my one small pocket, a red switch was missing. I'm sure it was an oversight, but it would be very important if I needed all 15 switches to complete this project, or three red ones. Of the 14 pieces received, all have been tested and work properly with a resistance of 1.8 to 2.0. Ohm. Thank you for reading. I hope that was helpful.
