later so I moved here to add my $0.02 to the collection. First of all, they are a pleasure to work with - they are pleasant to the touch, well shaped and ideal for replacing broken switches. Soldering is difficult, but quite doable. Weather protection: I have no idea. Bought these to keep dirt off the switch, not as weather protection. Waterproof: See weather protection.
