It actually didn't work.
The thread is obviously cast offset in the mold. It was EXTREMELY difficult to even start threading. A large-handled wrench was required for easy tightening. I took it off and put the old one on with a new O-ring. It turned just as easily as before and easily sealed and tightened to spec. THAT DOES NOT WORK. By the way; This is the second time I am telling you this story.
