I've bought a few flimsy and cheap 110VAC to 12VDC converters in the past and they've all let me down when I've had to use them to power most things , as they weren't as powerful as a car battery, although all used 110V to convert to 12V. I soon realized the problem was the amperage. The higher the current wattage of the converter, the more powerful the 12V adapter. With that in mind, I searched all over the internet and found this converter that can handle up to 200W. Now I can reproduce the maximum load I can get out of the car without having access to the car. Knowing that this adapter has overload, overheat, and short circuit protection also helps me feel better about using it for long periods of time and under heavy loads. Now I can use my car tire infiltrator at home to inflate a bike tire and pressurize the reverse osmosis filter tank. Also, I can use my 12 volt portable shower to wash my car and stuff in the backyard without having to start the car and use it to water my yard. As you can see in the video, when using this converter with another, the water pressure of my portable shower is unparalleled.
