I was able to install with a long 3/8 ratchet extension by pressing directly on the part. With this method, make sure you're pushing straight down, not at an angle, and make sure the bottom of the boot, the sleeve, whatever you want to call it, is in place as much as possible. I was afraid the bottom would come out and my extension would make a big dent in the fender, but I managed without damaging the truck. Oh, and a few things. I removed the antenna from the mount under the wing. There is a video on YouTube on how to do this. Also on the 2014 model, the antenna housing itself has a clip that needs to be pushed up for it to work. In general, I would not recommend if you give the 2014 model. I can't speak for other models. I might have to edit this later if it comes out or breaks or whatever, but it's here for now. I will say that I like to do a lower profile, I would do it over the factory profile.
