I typically use quality components and parts on all my mountain bikes. I had to send in my Ritchey WC Trail stem for warranty. In the meantime I have ordered this stem in reserve, and I also wanted to try a 40mm stem. This stem is a keeper and stays put on my Kona Hei Hei Supreme Race setup. I installed my ENVE stem and found it stiffer and just plain uncomfortable. Plus, for the price, weight, and performance, unless you need the jewelry and can't do without it, it's no slouch.
