Overall a good product with some issues

The product has a nice style that matches ceramics with old fashioned chrome fittings. I agree with another reviewer that the plastic wrap and sticker are difficult to remove. Rubber on the legs leaves a gray stain clearly visible on a white surface. The stain rubs off my ceramic tile easily, but not the white plastic accent at the end of the rod, so I have a few gray stains on the white decor. I liked the spring loaded feature, but the polished ceramic tile wall I installed it on was too slippery for the rubber ends to grab and it slid down immediately - I solved this by inserting a piece of non-slip rubber pad. Because the white decorative end is large in diameter and protrudes 1 1/2 inches, it does not fit all the way onto the curtain ring, therefore the curtain cannot be attached to the wall. I would say there is a 1/2 inch gap between the curtain and the wall. This is not a problem because we have a long shower head. Otherwise, I would use a shower curtain clip that sticks to the wall and holds the curtain in place.
