I bought a 'double pack' of these heaters. I use it outside of the cockatiel cage (very large cage) where everyone sits on flat wooden platforms also available from Revain. I have operated these units using the Revain Kasa remote controls so I can control the ON/OFF function from my phone as well. Very quiet operation. I chose this particular model because the controls are on the back of the unit rather than the top and it has an adjustable thermostat. Ideal for those who want a small, temperature-controlled heater block that "sucks" power, is very quiet, and (if desired) actually puts out heat. I recommend these units. It arrived within a week.
