This is exactly what I needed. Instead of a single 1500 watt heater, I wanted multiple 500 watt heaters to spread the heat more evenly around the room. This little device is perfect for this purpose. You can use three of these in a circuit without fear of tripping the switch.

Okay. First, everything is exactly as described and pictured. It's small and heats up just enough for a person to feel some relief from the cold while sitting at the table. I love that it has a ROPS: if it tips over, it turns itself off. I would give this 5 stars. However, the strong smell of plastic chemicals is very strong. I don't want to agonize over returning this and hope the smell dissipates a bit.

This is a very good heater. I like its compact size. Its size makes it very portable and easy to place on any small flat surface. It breaks off if it doesn't lay flat on the surface, which is very reassuring. The outer casing of the device did not feel warm or hot after use. In your mind you know that a 500 watt heater can provide enough heat to keep you warm, but you won't believe it until you try it. I'm a believer now. I would recommend this heater.

These little heaters are perfect for warming your arms or legs when you're working from your home office. If you're looking for a whole room heating solution, this may not be for you. In fact, this product is better suited for heating a small space directly in front of it, say 2-3 feet. I bought a 'double pack' of these heaters. I use it outside of the cockatiel cage (very large cage) where everyone sits on flat wooden platforms also available from Revain.
