Review on Complete 8 Frame Beehive Kit With Fully-Coated Beeswax Frames And Foundation Sheet (2-Layer) For Optimal Beekeeping Performance by Jay Hill

Nice Beehive on my review.

New beekeeper here so I looked for a sturdy hive yet economical. I bought two. They were delivered quick and no damage.Outer boxes appear to be cedar and are nicely waxed. The instructions are really, really basic but it's easy to figure out once the parts are laid out. Screws and nails were included but it wasn't clear what screws went where.Dovetail pieces for the boxes went together tightly and had to use a hammer.I glued every frame and always use TiteBond3 on my wood projects. TiteBond3 is non-toxic, food safe and has incredible strength. I also used smaller nails as the nails provided will split wood if one doesn't pick up a hammer all year. Air or electric nailer would be great and speed up the process.Foundation sheets didn't fit tight and slide a little in the frame. They won't come out but slide about a 1/4 inch. Not sure if it's supposed to do that. They look great and I have one more to assemble. Looking to buy bees soon. Can't wait!I will update after some use.
