Review on 🚨 120 dB Motion Sensor Alarm with 5 Door Alarm Modes, 4 Volume Levels – Remote Controlled Indoor Motion Detector Alarm for Home, Shop, and Store by Allen Hart

range about ten feet;

I've had my 1st host (the guys who made the little round motion alert call it "Host") for two weeks and I need (my fault I didn't understand some features and thought the thing was in the batteries, it didn't turn out) I had already replaced the batteries. I have tested a lot and continue to test. I put it on at night when I go to bed and turn it off in the morning. Mine has a range of about ten feet (3.1 meters?), the alert angle is only about 10˚s wide with a range of 10 feet, which is just over 10 feet wide. Might work better with USB power? The instructions are pretty funny, aren't they? At maximum volume, the siren is very loud. I don't like the way the red light works. The light should come on when you are in the zone when the host is powered on but not set to lockout (alert) so you know it's working. The light should never come on when the alarm is off. The alarm will sound as soon as it is triggered until the batteries die or you unlock (disarm) it. The attacker has enough time to find and break it. Other alarms I've taped off their headlights, but this round sphere has the bulb and sensor in the same hole. It worked so well for the first week that I ordered a second one. Both the host and remote device are on the same channel. Except for the flashing light when the alarm goes off, we hope they work better with USB power. As of January 5, 2021: I don't think I would buy a third one. My complaints are that the range is too short and narrow and the light gives away its location when the alarm goes off. But it's loud! You can adjust the volume and turn it down and it will turn off immediately when triggered, right?

Pros
  • Smart Motion Alert
Cons
  • Slightly dented
