I have several places in my house where I occasionally need a screwdriver - and of course it's not there. I keep most of my good tools in my workshop, but there are other places like my garage, outhouse, basement, kitchen, etc. where I often need to use a screwdriver. This set is well suited for this, ie "auxiliary" set for occasional use. I like the fact that all screwdrivers fit into a convenient and compact stand and are of a specific type. I have no idea how well these screwdrivers will perform over time. Many Philips-type screwdrivers tend to wear out quickly because they "cam" so often. There are more screwdrivers in this set than I actually need, but I think it's better to have too many than too few.
