Do not buy this very poor quality product
We have had a much older version of the same cheese slicer for decades. It was wonderful and lasted what felt like an eternity. Eventually the wire broke and we tried replacing the wires but they never worked properly. We thought its new version (with the exact same design) would be a good replacement. Unfortunately, this new version turned out to be a very inferior product and was unusable after only 2 months. The coating has peeled off and looks awful and we don't want to use it anymore. The emergency window closed, so it's in the trash. DO NOT BUY THIS would be our message to potential customers.
