The stand broke in less than a month

The plastic piece that snaps and latches the stand into place stopped working after just a few weeks, causing the stand to slide back when the tablet was put down. He was only awake half the time. Now a piece of plastic has completely broken off. no stand, no case. I bought a flower case, but now I want a folio with no plastic elements.
